Selling your phone

Start by getting your free 2-minute phone evaluation on our phone evaluation page based on your device's condition. After answering a few questions, we'll provide a quote based on your phone's status. If you accept, you can send your device to us using our provided delivery options. Once we receive and inspect the device, we'll finalize the offer and process your payment.

Before sending your phone, ensure you've deleted all personal data, removed iCloud or Google accounts, and taken out the SIM and memory cards. We use advanced data wiping techniques upon receiving your device to ensure any remaining data is securely erased. Always remember to backup your data before resetting.

We use our diagnostic tool to assess your device's condition and provide an initial quote. Once we physically inspect the device, the offer might be adjusted based on its actual condition. If there's a change in the quoted price, you'll have the option to accept the new offer or have your device returned to you at no cost.

Once we've received and verified your device, we aim to process payments on the same day. The funds should reflect in your account by the next working day. If there's any delay, it might be due to bank processing times or issues with the provided bank details. Ensure you've accepted our final offer via email to expedite the payment process.

Repair your device

Our technicians are highly trained and have a wealth of experience, ensuring your devices are handled with utmost care. We prioritize quality and speed, offering same-day repair services across our 20+ stores . Plus, our repairs come with a 12-month warranty, giving you peace of mind. Always remember to back up your data and remove your SIM and SD cards before handing over your device.

Simply book your repair, and if your device isn't responding, select the Free Diagnostic option. We'll assess the issue and inform you about the problem and the cost of repairs. Most repairs are completed the same day in our stores while postal repairs could take between 48-72 hours. If you're unsure about proceeding, you can cancel your repair anytime before sending your device to us.

Your data remains safe, especially if your phone powers up and you have access to your data. However, we always recommend backing up your phone data before any repair. Ensure you remove your SIM and SD cards before handing over your device. Our primary goal is to fix your device without compromising your data's integrity.

Deliveries

After placing your order, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Simply input this number on our order tracking page to monitor your delivery's progress. If you need more details or assistance, contact us through our support page, enter the email address used for the order, and access all relevant information. Our support team is also available there for further help.

We trust and use DPD for our deliveries. For orders placed before 3pm, we aim for a next day delivery window. If your order exceeds £20, delivery fees are on us! Otherwise, there's a £3.99 charge. Please note that processing can sometimes take up to 24 hours before dispatch.

Currently, we only provide shipping services within the UK. This includes our sell a phone and repair services.

Buying a refurbished device

We specialise in offering a diverse range of refurbished devices, including iPhones, Samsung, and Android phones. Additionally, our collection extends to smartwatches and a wide array of accessories, including various charge and sync options. Each device undergoes rigorous testing to ensure top-notch quality and performance.

When you buy a refurbished phone from us, you receive everything essential for a seamless experience. This includes a charging cable, a microfibre cloth, and a 24-month warranty. Please note, our phones do not come with a SIM card, ensuring you have the freedom to choose your preferred network.

We offer a variety of payment methods for your convenience. You can pay using Credit/Debit cards, Paypal, or opt for Klarna's installment payment options. With Klarna, you can spread out your payments over time, making it easier to invest in the tech you love.

Returns & warranty

All devices come with a 24-month warranty. However, this doesn't cover physical damage, liquid damage, accidental harm, software tampering, or issues arising from replaced/opened parts. Additionally, any repair job we undertake has a 12-month warranty, and any part we install comes with a minimum 6-month warranty. Always remember to back up your data before returning.

If you're not satisfied, you can return the product within 30 days of purchase, ensuring it's in its original condition with all accessories and packaging. Returns can be made in-store or by mail, and refunds typically go back to the original payment method. Note: Postage charges might not always be refunded. You can return unwanted items within 3 days of the sale for a refund, which will be issued as a voucher. The item should be in the same condition as when purchased. for further information please visit https://www.imobile.co.uk/returns

For purchases made through Klarna, unwanted items can be returned within 14 days from the purchase date. However, no refunds are given after the second instalment payment. To initiate a return, either drop the item at an iMobile store or dispatch it to our address. After checking the returned item (which takes 1-2 working days), we'll issue a refund, or you can opt for an exchange or a voucher.
